Collects seven studies with the thoughts raised in the first phase of an extensive research project in which the Federation in collaboration with ABI-ANIA Assogestioni seeks to stimulate a debate in Italy on action that can promote more efficient allocation of savings, the delineatisi light of the changes following the economic and financial crisis of the last two years. The book is primarily devoted to the consequences of the crisis on the habits of families and the management and promotion of savings in Italy, and the problems in this context, financial institutions are facing in the light of the economic development of the country. The first test has as its object the crisis and the process of regulatory reform of international financial assets, the second model of financial intermediation in Italy and the underlying supply and demand which have resulted in crisis in the asset management. The third paper discusses new investment strategies of households Italian once past the panic, paying particular attention to the influence on portfolio choice by shifting preferences towards more liquid and safe, due to increased risk aversion, and the collapse of confidence in financial intermediaries . The fourth essay is dedicated to the relationship between taxation and asset allocation choices, and opportunities that emerge for action on tax legislation in order to enable the development of the financial market, the fifth and sixth focus on the crisis of savings managed, particularly investment funds, and margin improvement and optimization of existing portfolios.
