Keynes and Keynesian economists who make mistakes, Cambridge

Italian translation of a work published by Cambridge University Press, author of an eminent economist who fits into wake of Keynesian economic studies of the School. This is a contribution to theory and history, not born from the renewed interest today in the wake of the devastating global financial and economic crisis, has brought Keynes at the center of debate among experts, but on mature reflection over decades. In order to understand the most revolutionary aspects of Keynesian thinking, not yet fully assimilated by economists, it was reported to the academic environment of Cambridge, the context in which Keynes together with a group of his brightest students, Kahn, Robinson, in Sraffa, went to critique the dominant economic thinking, laying foundations for a rigorous economic theory alternative.

Corporate boards

a collection of papers presented in 2008 at Loyola University Chicago on the topic of relations between the boards and business risks. Combine the contribution of social sciences, management, of law, business ethics, in order to analyze the role of directors in risk management and as a source of risk to themselves that govern society - a point that was associated with executive management, that after the unfortunate events of recent years has been particularly evident. The essays are organized into five parts, each ended the critical analysis of the contributions in it. The first shows the heterogeneity risk management practices within the structures of governance. In the second you try to establish whether the management of risk by the boards is possible given the chaotic nature of the systems and society, or achievable in practice, according to the dynamics that characterize the behavior of these bodies. The third part examines the interaction between the structure of the boards and how to manage risk. The fourth is devoted to the management of specific risks by administrators. Finally, the fifth focuses on ethical issues that arise from the relationship between risk management and corporate governance.
